What is the SAT?
Offered through College Board the SAT and SAT Subject Tests are means of measuring academic readiness and skills required to succeed in our progressing world. Being a globally recognized college admission test,  the SAT provides pathways to many opportunities and scholarships. The SAT subjective tests provide additional  specific views of your knowledge in select areas and can enhance your applications.
What does the SAT test?
The SAT tests a students abilities in critical reading, writing and math. The additional subject tests offered are content-based and display academic achievement in specific areas. There are 20 subject tests in five general categories ( English, history, languages, math and science). Subject tests may also test knowledge you gained outside of the classroom in addition to school.
