Bully Report
2008-2009 School Year
In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3313.666 “District Policy Addressing Harassment,” which includes bullying states the posting requirement: 3313.666(B)(10) A requirement that the district administration semiannually provide the president of the district board a written summary of all reported incidents and post the summary on its web site, if the district has a web site, to the extent permitted by section 3319.321 of the Revised Code and the “Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974,” 88 Stat. 571, 20 U.S.C. 1232q, as amended.

We had a total of 9 bully incidents in the school district.
Within the Secondary School we had an ongoing harassment of one student, by several others. This incident persisted for the majority of the school year. Actions were taken to not only stop the harassment and bullying but also to educate those who were perpetrating the harassment.
In the Elementary School we had a total of 8 incidents that are defined as Bully incidents.
1) Threatened to beat up a student and used threatening gesture as to cut his throat
2) Excessive taunting, yelling almost to start a fight
3) Instigating/taunting a student to fight
4) Excessive taunting, yelling to start a fight
5) Excessive taunting, yelling, calling names
6) Excessive taunting, yelling, stance to start a fight
7) Assault, hit and punched a student on bus
8) Taunting/teasing a student, making fun of student's speech pattern.
This completes the report.
