First LEGO League Team - Job Well Done!

On Sunday students from Richmond Hts competed in the First Lego League competition in Aurora, OH.  In this competition, the students are scored  on computer programming, engineering, oral ability, how innovative they are and team work.  Click More+ below to read further.

They worked for months after school and on many weekends  to prepare for this competition.   During the competition they started off slow, but as the day progressed they improved and showed more confidence.  The last event in which they participated, was in front of about 300 people and live streamed around the country.  In this event they placed 4th out of 12 teams.    This was not enough to qualify them for regionals.   If you were there you would of been proud of them .

If you see     Nivea Brown , Emmanuel Wambua, Kenya Harris, Brandon Bryson, Nicholas Lowe and Aniyah Thomas please tell them job well done.

Special Thanks to John Keyerleber  of NCS Datacom  for all of his help.

Special thanks to  the Bryson family for all of their support.
