Dear Richmond Heights Local School District Families,
As we continue to plan for learning continuity during winter weather and emergency closures, we want to inform families of an important update:
All future calamity days will be asynchronous learning days.
This means that if school is closed due to weather or other emergency conditions, students will be expected to complete assigned learning activities from home through their online platforms or learning packets.
Teacher Virtual Office Hours
To support students during asynchronous learning days, teachers will provide two designated virtual office hours. During these times, teachers will be available to:
Answer student questions
Provide academic support
Assist with assignments and learning activities
Specific office hour times and access information will be shared by each building principal.
Student Expectations
Families can review the full expectations for asynchronous learning, including attendance, assignments, and student responsibilities, on the district website.
We appreciate your flexibility and continued partnership as we work together to ensure students remain engaged and supported, even when school buildings are closed.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Richmond Heights Local Schools.
Please review the additional information for the Elementary and Secondary Schools.
