Dr. Brown Recognized Nationally, Continues Growing Richmond Heights Local Schools
Richmond Heights Local Schools is proud to share that Superintendent Dr. Marnisha Brown was recently featured in The Education Magazine's "10 Leaders Transforming Education: 2026" series. The feature highlights her steady, student-centered leadership and the progress our district has made together over the past several years.
Dr. Brown would be the first to say this recognition belongs to the whole Richmond Heights community: our students, staff, families and Board of Education. It also reflects her ongoing commitment to growing as a leader so she can serve Richmond Heights well.
Last year, Dr. Brown was named a 2025-26 Fellow in the Ohio Educational Leadership Program through Cleveland State University's Center for Educational Leadership, a partnership with the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio focused on building leadership capacity across the region. She also completed a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University, sharpening her skills in strategic fiscal management and financial leadership at a time when responsible stewardship matters more than ever for our district. Alongside this, she continues to meet regularly with fellow superintendents across Northeast Ohio, working collaboratively on best practices in the classroom, staffing and funding.
One Vision. One Mission. One Richmond.
We are grateful for Dr. Brown's leadership and for a community that continues to show what is possible when we grow together.
