Hey Spartan Nation! RHS ENCORE Productions presents the Fall Musical, October 23rd at 7 PM and October 24th at 2 PM and 7 PM. "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical comedy that centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School, with some students being from various elementary schools. These six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups."

Report Cards are going DIGITAL! Congratulations to our students and staff on a great first quarter! Weâre proud of the hard work and progress happening across Richmond Heights.
Beginning this school year, Richmond Heights Local Schools will no longer mail paper report cards home. This change will help the district save on printing and mailing costs.
Quarter 1 report cards will be available Thursday, Oct. 22, through ProgressBook.
Families can log in to view their childâs report card. Need a printed copy? Contact your childâs school to request one.

Financial Fact Friday! Continuing from last week. Here are additional changes that have been made for the 2026-2027 school year:
-The Upper School bell schedule is changing
-Senior dues are increasing
-Some student activities are being scaled back
-The preschool program is on pause for one year
We know these are not small things to the families affected by them, and we're not pretending otherwise. The Board of Education continues to look at other options as it plans ahead.

Understanding how school funding works in Ohio can be confusing because not all school dollars can be used for the same purpose.
Learn more about how Ohioâs school funding works at our Aug. 24 board meeting.
Some funding supports the day-to-day operation of our schools, including transportation, staffing, classroom instruction and extracurricular programs. Other funding is legally restricted to permanent facility improvements, such as buildings, athletic facilities and other capital projects.
As Richmond Heights Local Schools begins a new school year with several important initiatives underway, we want to help our community better understand how different funding sources work and how they may legally be used.
